As a first step, materials are subject to investigation and testing to ensure the adequate process as the case may be: such as in the treatment of low quality aggregates with clay inclusions and undetermined soluble content, in the removal of clays by suspension or in the washing of porous minerals.
The “Hydroflux” Washing Drums and the “Rotaryflux” Log Washers are the specific equipment for the effective treatment of coarse minerals, which require a vigorous washing with a minimum water consumption.
The Attrition Cells or “Hydrovortex” Hydrocyclones are frequently applied for the processing <8mm grain size distribution sands, requiring an intensive treatment to release light contaminated materials, organic type (vegetable or coal) or heavy minerals pollutants (iron or titanium).
