Vibrosieve® Curved Screen
The Vibrosieve® Curved Screen has been specially designed to achieve fine classifications in the range of 0.25 mm to 2 mm, being its main applications for:
Classification of silica sand for glass, foundry and filters; classification of sands for high-strength concrete and prefabricated products; classification of minerals in gravimetric concentration or magnetic separation processes; pre-drying of various products in the chemical and food industries, as a complement to subsequent stages of a process.

Functioning
Its operation is based on the principle of curved screens, but incorporating a horizontal section. The slurry feed is discharged by gravity at the upper end, with a solids concentration between 15% and 20%.
The fine particles filter through the screen along with most of the liquid due to the effect of laminar flow and vibration, which are collected in a hopper attached to the trough. The coarse product is discharged at the lower end, completely drained. Water diffusers cause the dispersion of particles increasing the efficiency of the classification.
