Hydroset Compact Plants
Hydroset Compact Hydrocycloning Plants are designed for washing, classifying and recovery of sands, as well as in the production of special sands for application in special mortars, fiber optic cable laying, telephone cables, agricultural crops, equestrian tracks and golf courses.
They are also suitable for bentonite regeneration and for the removal of harmful elements such as lignite contamination of sands as a preliminary step to gravimetric separation.
Hydroset compact plants are specified according to the process variables by means of the appropriate combination of its main components Pumping Group, Hydrocyclone and Vibrating Drainer. Their compact design of reduced dimensions will result in notable advantages for the user, such as speed of assembly, ease of operation, reduced maintenance and low space occupation.

Functioning
The feed material, generally coming from a vibrating screen, in the case of sand washing, or from the overflow of a screw or waterwheel, in the case of Fine Sand Recovery, is conveyed to the Pumping Group from where it is pumped to the Hydrocyclone which removes the unwanted particles (clays, slimes, etc.). The washed product, obtained at the discharge of the Hydrocyclone, is conveyed to the Vibrating Dewaterer to reduce the humidity of the final product and thus obtain an easily handled material of the highest quality. The overflow of the Hydrocyclone containing the rejected particles is evacuated to settling basins or to the Clarification and Filtration stages that allow minimizing the environmental impact and the adequate reuse of the water used in the process.
